Scholastic Book Fair
Our fall book fair is back! Students shop during the school day, and families can visit during parent-teacher conferences. Pick any volunteer shift. Even one hour helps.
The Scholastic Book Fair fills the school with new books for every reader. Every purchase earns books and supplies for Washington Grove classrooms.
We need 2-3 volunteers at the fair at all times to help kids shop and run the register. Can you stay a full day? Let us know. We would love one person each day who knows the ropes.
Ms. Cohen is WGES’s one and only librarian. She helps every student in our school find books they love, and she runs the Book Fair too. From unpacking boxes to helping kids count their money at the register, it’s a huge job for one person. If we don’t fill the shifts, Ms. Cohen does it alone.
Have a high schooler? Teen volunteers may earn service hours (training required).
This is the first time the PTA will earn money from the fair, and some books will be donated!
